The Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is now conducting the 2013 Recycled Art Contest! This is the fourth annual contest challenging community members to take repurposed material (adhesives excluded) from the ReStore and turn it into recycled art. Upon submission, all approved entries will receive a $25 ReStore certificate to compensate for materials.
Entries must be submitted to ReStore East (420 S. 1st St, Milwaukee) by Tuesday, March 5, 2013. They will be put on display in the store and voted on by customers. Winners will be announced the week of April 13, as part of the kickoff to our Earth Week Celebration.
Prizes will be in form of a ReStore shopping spree!
1st place is a $250 ReStore shopping spree
2nd place is a $150 ReStore shopping spree
3rd place is a $100 ReStore shopping spree
4th place is a $75 ReStore shopping spree
5th place is a $50 ReStore shopping spree
