Scott’s “swanky-cool” seminar runs 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Gaston County Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 1840 E. Franklin Blvd. in Gastonia. Tickets are $25 and included a catered lunch, interactive shopping time with Scott and ReStore coupons.
“I think of this as mid-century 101,” she says. “ People are always saying, ‘I’d love to go shopping with you’ or ‘I want to see how you work.’ This is a fun way to teach people how to do it themselves. I feel like I do this kind of thing with people everywhere I go when I talk about the things I find. I’m excited to share.”
