I used to work as a welder for a guy who owned one of these houses. It was magnificent, and cold. But an interesting house all the same.
SW Cecilia Terrace: Musicians Tyler Stone and Patrick Hinds have carefully remodeled their 1966 post-and-beam house built by celebrated mid-century modern developer Robert Rummer.
Rummer homes were equipped with energy efficient elements including radiant heat system and passive solar heating and cooling. The remodel added recycled denim insulation, energy saving appliances and a tankless water heating system.
Detail to know: Homeowner Stone designed the remodel in between performing with the electronic pop band Sutro.
