Jaguar Land Rover and Continental Outdoor Media partner together to upcycle old billboards

Products made by E’Yako Green from recycled Jaguar Land Rover billboards include conference bags, shoppers, folders, iPad pouches and pencil cases. The bags are made from a combination of recycled PVC billboards (on the inside) and hessian and ShweShwe on the outside. A variety of ShweShwe colours and patterns are available with different bindings. The focus at E’Yako Green is on developing, sourcing and supplying South African made, mostly eco-friendly, promotional products.

Artist to Transform a Los Angeles Billboard into a Floating Forest : TreeHugger

Urban Air Project – Billboard reuse, we like it!

Floating green spaces that improve air quality, give our eyes something to rest on, and monitor climate.

The Urban Air project by Los Angeles-based artist Stephen Glassman will do just that.

This Kickstarter project is unlike many we’ve come across. It is designed, engineered, sourced and billboard space has been acquired. All Urban Air needs is funding to complete the project.

Glassman plans to start with a donated billboard over one of Los Angeles’ busiest freeways. The commercial facade of the billboard you see above will be removed and replaced with architecturally integrated planters.
